Singapore is currently the fourth largest financial center, the third largest foreign exchange trading market and the sixth largest wealth management center in the world.
Singapore and China have always had close contacts. Chinese Mainland is Singapore's largest trading partner (since 2013) and the largest source of tourists (since 2018). Due to the expansion of China's influence and other reasons, both China and Singapore attach great importance to and affirm China Singapore relations. Singapore supports China's the Belt and Road initiative. The two countries also have extensive cooperation in national defense, economy and trade, culture, education and other fields.
